Xochitl Gomez is an American actress. She began acting at age five, performing in local musical theater productions and student films. Recently, she appeared in “Dancing With the Stars” and an incident happened with her. In this post, you will read about it.
Gomez looked like she hurt herself at the end of her contemporary number to “Game of Survival” by Ruelle on the Halloween episode of “Dancing With the Stars”. You can see their performance in a tweet provided below:

As she struck her last pose with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, the camera cut away and people could hear someone say, “Uh-oh.” In the next shot of Gomez and Chmerkovskiy, he was lifting her off the stage and down to the judges’ table.
She stood on one leg and leaned on Chmerkovskiy and cohost Alfonso Ribeiro offered to help her stand up. The judges asked her over and over if she was okay and Gomez claimed she was.
Cohost Julianne Hough gracefully avoided the subject by saying that she knew what it was like to want to move on from an event because she used to be a professional dancer on the show.
In the end, Gomez wrote about her strange injury on her Instagram story saying that she scraped up climbing the altar. She said, “I’m fine, everyone. We okay.”
In the story, there was also a scene of a makeup artist covering up a bandage on Gomez’s knee with a foundation that matched her skin tone. You can see the screenshot of her story in a tweet provided below:

Gomez and Chmerkovskiy still managed to top the leaderboard with their number despite the injury. They got 37 out of 40 points from the three main judges and Niecy Nash-Betts, who was a guest judge. Each of the show’s key judges gave them a nine and Nash-Betts gave them a wonderful ten.
Gomez seemed fine later on during the dance marathon. She was happy to be with Chmerkovskiy and even did dance moves where she got down on one knee and spun across the floor. The dance style changed from the Hustle to the Charleston, which has a lot of knee movement and fancy steps when they got to the top four.
Gomez and Chmerkovskiy won the race in the end, just beating Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov. They got five extra points for this, making their total 42 units. At the end of the night, Julianne Hough doused them in red confetti, like in the scary movie Carrie.
